Unexpected Guest

<strong>The Test Of True Disciples</strong>

A pastor transformed himself into a homeless person and went to the church that he was to be introduced as the head pastor at that morning. He walked around his soon to be church for 30 minutes while it was filling with people for service. Only 3 people said hello to him, most looked the other way. He asked people for change to buy food because he was hungry. Not one gave him anything.

He went into the sanctuary to sit down in the front of the church and was told by the ushers that he would need to get up and go sit n the back of the church. He said hello to people as they walked in but was greeted with cold stares and dirty looks from people looking down on him and judging him.

He sat in the back of the church and listened to the church announcements for the week. He listened as new visitors were welcomed into the church that morning but no one acknowledged that he was new. He watched people around him continue to look his way with stares that said you are not welcome here.

<a href="http://elishajesuorobo.org/blog/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/fb_img_1457885714119-1.jpg"><img title="FB_IMG_1457885714119.jpg" class="alignnone size-full"  alt="image" src="http://elishajesuorobo.org/blog/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/fb_img_1457885714119-1.jpg" /></a>

Then the elders of the church went to the podium to make the announcement. They said they were excited to introduce the new pastor of the church to the congregation. "We would like to introduce you to our new Pastor." The congregation stood up and looked around clapping with joy and anticipation. The homeless man sitting in the back stood up and started walking down the aisle.

That's when all the clapping stopped and the church was silent. With all eyes on him....he walked up the altar and reached for the microphone. He stood there for a moment and then recited so elegantly, a verse from the bible.....

“Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’ “Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’
“The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for the least of my brothers and sisters, you did for me.’

After he recited this, he introduced himself as their new pastor and told the congregation what he had experienced that morning. Many began to cry and bow their heads in shame. "Today I see a gathering of people here but I do not see a church of Jesus. The world has enough people that look the other way. What the world needs is disciples of Jesus that can follow this teachings and live as he did. When will YOU decide to become disciples?

He then dismissed service until the following Sunday as his sermon had been given.

Will you pass the test? When the son of man comes will you still find faith in the earth? Don't undermine anyone, you may be entertaining angels unaware.

Dealing with discouragement

<h2>Are You Discouraged?</h2>
The only survivor of a shipwreck was washed up on a small, uninhabited island. He prayed feverishly for God to rescue him, and every day he scanned the horizon for help, but none seemed forthcoming.
<a href="http://elishajesuorobo.org/blog/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/wp-1458027919826.jpg"><img class="alignnone size-full" title="wp-1458027919826" src="http://elishajesuorobo.org/blog/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/wp-1458027919826.jpg" alt="image" /></a>

Exhausted, he eventually managed to build a little hut out of driftwood to protect himself from the elements, and to store his few possessions. But then one day, after scavenging for food, he arrived home to find his little hut in flames, the smoke rolling up to the sky. The worst had happened; everything was lost. He was stunned with grief and anger. "God, how could you do this to me!" he cried.

<a href="http://elishajesuorobo.org/blog/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/wp-1458027980725.jpg"><img class="alignnone size-full" title="wp-1458027980725" src="http://elishajesuorobo.org/blog/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/wp-1458027980725.jpg" alt="image" /></a>

Early the next day, however, he was awakened by the sound of a ship that was approaching the island. It had come to rescue him. "How did you know I was here?" asked the weary man of his rescuers. "We saw your smoke signal," they replied.

<a href="http://elishajesuorobo.org/blog/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/wp-1458028052313.jpg"><img class="alignnone size-full" title="wp-1458028052313" src="http://elishajesuorobo.org/blog/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/wp-1458028052313.jpg" alt="image" /></a>

It is easy to get discouraged when things are going bad. But we shouldn't lose heart, because God is at work in our lives even in the midst of pain and suffering. Remember, next time your little hut is burning to the ground -- it just may be a smoke signal that summons the intervention of God. Don't give up, help is on the way!

Dealing with sleeping problem

Swallow This, Fall Asleep Almost Instantly, Stay Asleep, and Wake Up Refreshed

Millions of people worldwide face sleeping issues every single night. Millions of people suffer from insomnia as well, and it negatively affects their everyday life.

However, you should not despair if you are one of them, as there is a completely natural remedy that will restore your sleep and will help you wake up fresh and in a good mood.

This miraculous recipe contains only three natural ingredients. Its preparation is fast and easy, and it will make you sleep like a baby!

Ingredients:

¼ teaspoon of raw honey1/8 teaspoon of sea salt1 tablespoon of coconut oil

All of these beneficial ingredients are extremely effective as they will relax your mind a body. Moreover, their combination will reduce the effect of spikes in cortisol, which is what impedes your ability to sleep and wakes you up during the night.

Preparation and use:

For best results, you should consume this powerful mixture at bedtime.

There are two ways to consume it:

Option 1:

Mix the coconut oil and honey and then add the sea salt. Stir and take a spoon of the mixture. Then, drink a glass of water.

 Option 2

You can also consume the raw honey and coconut oil separately, and then drink a glass of water. Afterward, add the salt in a glass of water and drink it as well.

In case you wake up during the night, take this sleeping remedy again, and you will fall asleep again in less than half an hour.

Despite being sweet, honey does not raise the sugar levels, and it helps you fall asleep easily. Moreover, it provides the needed amount of liver glycogen storage for the brain, while its lack leads to increased secretion of hormones by the adrenal glands, like stress hormones, cortisol, and adrenaline. When in high amounts, these hormones cause sleeping issues.

On the other hand, coconut oil energizes the body and provides a feeling of satiety, which will help you avoid the hunger in the morning. It will also prevent blood sugar levels spiked during the night, which is the main reason why we wake up.

The salt will also help you lower the stress hormone levels and will provide energy.
